Summer Field Trip Price:
$13 per student/participant (Minimum of $195)
1 teacher per 1 students - No Charge
$6 per additional chaperones (Not Picking)
Whats Included:
- Before June 1st children will plant plants into pot, also can visit farm animals.
- Educational talk about the farm and walk into the apple orchard.
- Paint birdhouse gourd craft. (while supplies last)
- Available starting approximately June 1, children experience hand picking one of their favorite crops right from the field.
- Picnic table area under cover
Hayride Tour:
- A tractor drawn educational hayride tour of the farm {minimum of 20 people needed}
- Picnic tables at field pavilion
- Pick a crop that is available at time of field trip from the field
Because all crops and farm activities are dependent of weather. Simmons Farm will determine what crops are available for picking.
All the above activities and a tractor drawn hayride are dependent on the weather and can be cancelled do to unsafe conditions. The wagon for the hayride can be covered during light rain.
